Description:
28-piece English bone china teaset decorated with wide bands of floral sprays with yellow and blue flowers, red-dotted sprays, and green leaves, and green, and blue bands around the edges of each piece and around the wells of the plates and saucers. The set includes an oval teapot with cover with a blue floral knop, scrolled spout and D-shaped handle with a thumb plate on its top; oval teapot stand, sugar bowl and cover with a blue floral knop; cream pot with a scrolled handle with the same thumb plate on the top; waste bowl, 11 teacups, 10 saucers, and 2 plates. This tea set is very similar but not identical to pattern no. 19 made by the Machin Factory, Burslem, Staffordshire, England, c.1812-22.
